Position Summary

This position will contribute to a fast-paced effort to mine and identify key prospects within our database to reengage, qualify, and elevate to the Impact Fund team. They will demonstrate best practices for maintaining donor records, tracking activity, and sourcing contact information from external resources. The position will also support the research of actionable intelligence for recent donors to inform engagement strategies for the entire Advancement team.

Essential Job Functions

  • Implement a fast-paced lapsed donor engagement strategy meant to identify, connect with, and qualify lapsed donors to reengage and elevate the donor to an active portfolio through a robust moves management process.
  • Actively move a dynamic portfolio of lapsed donors through the qualification process using reports, dashboards, and engagement plans to make a comprehensive effort to connect with and understand the donor’s affinity for the mission, interest in continuing to engage, and potential for continued support.
  • Collaborate with research and qualification teammates to implement a donor research strategy that informs stewardship efforts for the entire Advancement team, including internal & external research, contact information and connection intelligence gathering, and utilizing actions to ensure stewardship completion.
  • Collaborate with Research & Qualification teammates on the tracking and reporting of qualification activities and outcomes, ensuring accurate and timely data management.
  • Support prospecting tool strategy including I-Wave, RelSci.
  • Utilize donor database and prospect research tools to track donor interactions, preferences, and giving history.
  • Prepare regular reports and analysis on prospecting performance for the Impact Fund team.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 – 5 years’ work experience preferably in fundraising, revenue generation through annual campaigns
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to successfully work in a collaborative, team-oriented organization.
  • Flexibility to travel overnight up to 20% of the time.

Employees may drive a motor vehicle and may be required to travel during business hours. Person must also be able to move/lift to 20 pounds.
