Required qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider Identifier (NPI) number

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 years full time experience practicing as a registered nurse in a Long Term Care, Medical/Surgical Unit, and/or Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • 1 year recent, hands-on technical clinical experience (occurring within the last three years) in a Medicare-certified Homecare or Hospice agency/facility doing intermittent visits and case management.
  • Recent hands-on experience in wound care, venipuncture, ostomy, catheters, and feeding tubes.
  • Rehab nursing experience.
  • Experience working with an EMR system.
  • Experience with office software programs including Outlook, Word, and/or Excel.

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.
