Mechanical Assemblers needed in Conroe
First Shift – 7:00AM – 4:00PM (Open to working OT when needed)
Pay $23+ depending on experience.

Mechanical Assembler Summary
Assembles drilling equipment and land rigs and/or the pieces that go into them using power tools, machines, and/or hands.

Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities
Assembles drilling equipment and/or the pieces that go into them using power tools, machines, and/or hands.
Reads detailed schematics or blueprints that show how to assemble the product.
Verifies conformance of parts to stock list and blueprints, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
Lays out hole locations and drills and taps holes on parts for assembly.
Aligns components for assembly, manually or with hoist; bolts, screws, dowels, or rivets parts together, using hand tools or rivet gun; or arranges for assembly by welder and electrician.
Verifies alignment and tolerances of moving parts, using measuring instruments such as dial indicators and thickness gauges.
Tests operation of the assembly.
Assembles, sets up, and operates machines to verify functioning, machine capabilities, and conformance to specifications.
May form and fasten piping, fixtures, and attachments required to service machine with air, water, and oil.
Will install Hydraulic and Pneumatic components to specifications.
Performs assembly duties outside on the rig up pads and on the shop floor.
Maintains work area and equipment organization and cleanliness.
Appropriately uses timekeeping system for proper labor reporting.


Mechanical Assembler Requirements
2+ years’ experience assembling drilling equipment (top drives, mud pumps, or draw-works) or similar.
Able to read blueprints or schematics.
