This position may be eligible for a hybrid work environment (combination of remote work and in-office reporting), with the coordination and approval of the appropriate supervisor. This position is located in Columbus, OH.

Position Title: Energy Settlement Analyst

Reports To: Manager of Energy Settlements & Reporting

FLSA Status: Exempt

Basic Functions: Process and analyze energy supply, transmission and other power requirements and costs for AMP Members.

Essential Functions:

1. Operates energy and other invoicing programs; analyzes invoiced power costs; researches and resolves disputed account balances.

2. Responsible for the tracking and verifying of rate determinants used to generate monthly power invoices to AMP Members.

3. Participates in the monthly settlement and reconciliation of energy purchases and sales.

4. Assists in the coordination of energy billing and settlement arrangements with suppliers, joint venture projects and counterparties.

5. Participates in the development and maintenance of spreadsheets and databases.

6. Maintains energy settlement procedures as established by contracts, agreements, and general industry standards.

7. Responsible for providing support to all areas of the organization in the form of financial modeling and/or ad hoc reporting.

8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree preferred. Associates degree in finance, accounting, mathematics, engineering or related field is required.

2. Must demonstrate advanced level skills with Microsoft Office products with an emphasis on Excel.

3. Must demonstrate the ability to analyze complex numeric problems.

4. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

5. Must be able to work in a team environment.

6. Must demonstrate the use of good judgment with minimal supervision.
