POSITION SUMMARY

The Investment Operations Analyst is primarily tasked with supporting various middle office operational and client service functions related to a designated set of separately managed accounts or other investment products.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

INVESTMENT BOOK OF RECORD

Conducts thorough reviews of trading activities, general ledger transactions, and pricing for separately managed accounts and portfolios to guarantee the precision of daily market value assessments. Ensures the prompt and accurate delivery of projected available cash to the investment advisor.
Oversees daily reconciliations of account records with custodians, prime brokers, and clients.
Completes tasks assigned by the Assistant Manager or Manager to maintain the integrity of account records.
Ensures the accuracy of daily and monthly performance metrics.
Assists in the preparation of client statements.


TRADE OPERATIONS

Monitors and facilitates trading activities throughout the entire trade lifecycle, encompassing trade events, settlement processes, exception management, and reconciliations for both fixed income and equity products. Collaborates with counterparties, custodians, and internal teams to effectively address trade discrepancies before the Settlement Date.
Manages the configuration setup and reference data within trading platforms.


REPORTING

Guarantees the completeness and timeliness of reporting to both internal and external clients.


WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Engages with team members and internal departments regarding follow-ups on inquiries and open workflows. Acts as a liaison for day-to-day middle office activities for assigned accounts. May undertake additional duties as required.


KNOWLEDGE AND TOOLS

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. A minimum of one year of experience in a related field is preferred. CPA eligibility is a plus. Equivalent education, experience, and knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.
