Work, Play and Grow at BlackLine Make Your Mark The Senior Director, Presales Projects & Industry Programs drives BlackLine's industry-specific positioning and strategic programs within presales. This leader ensures BlackLine shows up as a trusted, value-driven advisor in targeted industries, while aligning presales priorities with company strategy and market opportunities. You'll Get To Lead industry specialization strategy, creating frameworks, demo flows, and case studies for priority verticals. Act as presales lead on industry programs and special projects, ensuring alignment with GTM priorities. Partner with Sales, Marketing, and CoE to align industry messaging and content. Deploy presales into top 10 industry deals, ensuring industry insights translate into competitive advantage. Build repeatable playbooks and tools that scale industry credibility across presales teams. What You'll Bring 10+ years in presales, sales strategy, or industry-focused roles. Deep understanding of finance/accounting processes and ability to contextualize by industry. Experience building vertical GTM programs in SaaS. Strong executive presence and ability to engage C‑Suite stakeholders. Skilled at turning industry knowledge into scalable presales assets. Candidates who live within a reasonable commute to one of our offices will work in the office at least 2 days a week. Salary Range USD $192,000.00/Yr. - USD $240,000.00/Yr. Pay Transparency Statement Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans. We are committed to pay transparency and ensuring candidates have clear information about compensation expectations. For roles that include variable incentive components such as an Incentive Compensation Plan (ICP) or On-Target Earnings (OTE), the compensation structure may follow a split model - for example, a 50/50, 70/30, or 60/40 ratio between base salary and variable incentive.
