Role Summary Director, Aesthetics Business Development responsible for leading and supporting business development transactions, including target generation, evaluation, due diligence, contract negotiation, and early integration planning of licensing, partnerships, and acquisition deals. Collaborates with senior management across Ortho Dermatologics, Solta, and R&D to identify external opportunities and build a robust aesthetics product portfolio. Responsibilities Identify and evaluate new business development opportunities by working with the VP of Business Development and Ortho Dermatologic and Solta senior management. Formulate an Aesthetic Licensing and Acquisition roadmap for Ortho Dermatologics and Solta Medical; maintain a dynamic target landscape. Collaborate with Global Strategic Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, Legal, and Commercial teams to assess feasibility and alignment with business strategy and financial criteria. Evaluate new opportunities, lead financial modeling, and manage due diligence with internal teams. Prepare and present business cases for internal discussion and approval. Negotiate and execute licensing and acquisition deals, including strategic partnerships, and oversee implementation toward launch/integration. Build and cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, focusing on trust, transparency, and communication. Develop and grow a productive network of external contacts and maintain relationships with industry counterparts. Qualifications MBA or graduate degree in life sciences preferred. 10+ years of experience in Business Development and/or Strategy. Medical Device experience is required; medical aesthetic experience highly preferred. Proficiency in developing detailed financial models to assess commercial opportunity, and in creating deal structures reflecting risk/reward profiles; ability to interpret and present risk simulation outputs. Experience in preparing commercial assessments, validating assumptions, and presenting findings to senior leadership. Track record of negotiating deal terms with third parties aligned with strategic and financial objectives. Strong judgment regarding information management and confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal, advocacy, delegation, and communication skills; ability to work across functional disciplines. Excellent presentation and analytical skills; mastery of MS PowerPoint and Excel. Education MBA or graduate degree in life sciences preferred. 10+ years of relevant experience in BD/Strategy. #J-18808-Ljbffr
