See our website for more details.What You'll Do:The Sr. Manufacturing Engineer is a process-focused role that provides technical leadership and hands-on support to ensure the production of well-designed, profitable parts.Key Responsibilities:I. Technical Leadership:Strategic Planning and Innovation:Lead and support the development of innovative processes and technologies.Determine and define manufacturing processes for small batch custom materials/parts.Manage critical projects, including capital projects, equipment installations, and upgrades.Process Improvement:Develop, improve, and implement robust production methods and business processes.Apply sound engineering principles and proven statistical methods to data analysis and experimental design, using this information to improve existing processes.Quality and Efficiency:Partner with Quality Assurance to monitor yields and implement continuous improvement programs.Evaluate, implement, and support automated inspection systems and equipment.Customer and Stakeholder Management:Communicate with customers to understand their needs and specifications.Provide technical sales support and participate in resolving customer issues.Team Influencer:Oversee work, provide guidance, and support professional development of team members, including Engineering Techs and early-career Engineers.II. Hands-on Production Support:Technical Implementation:Provide hands-on technical support on the manufacturing floor.Work with design and mechanical engineers to help design, build, and implement fixtures to support manufacturing processes.Troubleshooting:Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing problems that impact quality or cost-effectiveness.Documentation:Ensure all process documentation is accurate, in place, and up-to-date.Define and validate process routers, work instructions, and preventive maintenance requirements.Quality Control:Conduct on-site quality checks and participate in problem-solving activities.Qualifications - What You Bring:•BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related engineering field (MS a plus)•10+ years of proven manufacturing engineering experience•Expertise in forming and finishing processes a plus•Strong background in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies•Excellent problem-solving and leadership skillsBonus Points:Semi-conductor experienceGlass and/or Polymer manufacturing backgroundExperience managing and developing technical teamsERP system proficiencyWhy Join Us?Work with cutting-edge technology that makes a real-world differenceFamily-owned company with a friendly, collaborative cultureHigh-energy work environmentWe value Excellence in everything we doOpportunities for professional growth and developmentCompetitive salary and benefits packageAre you ready to engineer the future?
