Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Technician II to join our team at LFB USA, Inc. This role will involve operating and monitoring production equipment, as well as performing aseptic operations and analytical instrument maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and monitor production equipment, including process tanks, balances, bioburden filtration assemblies, chromatography columns/skids, UF/DF equipment, data recorders, and depth filter systems.
  • Aseptic Operations: Perform aseptic operations, including equipment in-process sampling and work in Laminar Flow Hoods/Biosafety Cabinets, under the guidance of senior operators.
  • Analytical Instrument Maintenance: Operate and standardize analytical instruments, including pH meters, conductivity meters, flow meters, spectrophotometers, and integrity testers, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Complete production records and documentation with strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and Good Documentation Practices.
  • Facility Maintenance: Maintain equipment logbooks, review and file documentation, and assist in Validation/Engineering and Calibration activities.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a bioprocessing or manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of biomanufacturing concepts and cGMPs, ability to work in a cleanroom environment, and proficiency in analytical instrument operation and maintenance.
