Dollar Bank’s Marketing department is hiring for a Credit Card Product Specialist. You will be responsible for managing all payment product initiatives to achieve marketing sales and profitability goals. Your primary focus is to research, evaluate, and improve product performance for retail and business debit cards, credit cards and mobile payments. You also may periodically work on broader payment initiatives as assigned. You will have the opportunity to deepen your expertise in product strategy, aid in the enhancements of product development, and contribute to the Banks overall strategic objectives, profitability, and growth.

Principal Activities/Objectives:

•Research and evaluate product performance and identify innovations to address customer needs and improve product performance in the market.
•Identify sources, monitor, analyze and interpret key product performance metrics including financials, network volumes, other key statistics, and internal/external customer feedback trends, then develop and communicate findings and make strategic and tactical recommendations for performance improvements.
•Drive initiatives for growth and adoption of product offering with internal and external partners. Oversee strategy, create product roadmaps with short-term and long-term focus.
•Define and execute strategic product roadmaps to build new products, enhance existing products or improve performance.
•Manage the successful design, development, and marketing of new and existing payment products and services.
•Maintain competitive intelligence – monitoring product and marketing developments.
•Maintain a thorough understanding of the regulatory environment to ensure that products, services, and promotions comply with all applicable laws and internal audit procedures.
•Conduct analysis to identify opportunities to increase product usage and/or portfolio size.
•Manage and escalate risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
•Initiate marketing campaigns designed to inform customers of available products and services and increase usage.
•Evaluate the success of various marketing tactics and promotions, as well as product offerings to ensure positive ROI and to include learning in future projects.
•Serve as product management business lead on cross-functional teams, including internal departments such as underwriting, lending, collections, security, operations, legal, sales, business, corporate, and accounting. As well as external vendors such as payment networks and processors.
•Represent marketing/product management on strategic committees within the Bank working to enhance the customer experience and/or customer acquisition.
•All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing, and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by Dollar Bank’s risk management program. Compliance with regulatory laws and company procedures is a required component of all position descriptions.

Required Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or commensurate experience.
•Two (2) years of experience with payment products including retail and business debit cards, credit cards, and mobile payments.
•Strong analytical and financial analysis skills with an understanding of interchange, interest income and profitability.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word. (candidate will be tested in Excel).
•Product management skills or training preferred.
•Strong written and oral communication skills.
•Must be an analytical and a strategic problem solver.
•Ability to work in teams and independently.

Desired Qualifications:

•Experience promoting products through various marketing channels such as digital, email, and direct mail.
