MUST:
Experienced Senior Staff Accountant
4+ years of professional experience working in accounting
Experience working with Federal and DoD clients is required
Strong experience with ADP
Well versed in Unanet systems for reporting
Strong understanding of DCAA Audits
Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP,
Extensive knowledge of FAR regulations is highly desired
Experience with Microsoft Outlook & Word
Handle information with high level of security and confidentiality
Excellent understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
Excellent knowledge of MS Office Products, SharePoint, and Reporting
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Detail oriented and highly organized
Analytical mind and critical thinker
Current CPA is desired
Bachelor s degree in accounting or related field is required

DUTIES:
Managing Balance Sheet reconciliations and supporting month-end/year-end close activities Self-motivated and driven, understand there is a busy season and times where there may be more work to get done
Prepare detailed reconciliation and support schedules for month-end close and annual audit
Conducting detailed account reconciliations, journal entries and maintaining GL integrity
Preparing monthly financial statements and implementing controls to align with GAAP
Part take and help with DCAA audits and necessary reporting
Adhere to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
Remit invoices to customers based on submission instructions (WAWF, IPP, other website, email, etc)
Prepare detailed reconciliation and support schedules for month-end close and annual audit
Research and resolve unexplained reconciling items
Notify the Manager of significant, reconciling items that remain unresolved for extended periods
Ensuring confidentiality of financial information
