CV Resources is seeking a meticulous and analytical Director of FP&A  to enhance our rapidly growing client's finance division. In this pivotal role, you'll work closely with the leadership team, driving the FP&A function, overseeing financial reporting, and collaborating with executives to achieve company goals. Your duties as Director of FP&A will include budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, competitive benchmarking, and contributing to strategic financial decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, along with a comprehensive understanding of accounting, financial, and business principles. 

This position is full-time onsite and relocation assistance will not be offered at this time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
  • Create and maintain customized financial models for various business units and projects.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data for financial analysis.
  • Support monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports as required to support decision-making.
  • Continuously refine financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Serve as an internal point of contact for senior management, providing guidance on budget and financial matters.
  • Lead the translation of business strategies into financial plans and targets, offering valuable insights during budgeting and forecasting.
  • Maintain close alignment with supported teams to proactively address challenges.
  • Assist in analyzing seasonal sales trends, margins, customer behaviors, and marketing strategies to optimize demand and inventory procurement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years in senior FP&A roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of accounting, financial, and operational principles.
  • Track record of developing financial reports and metrics.
  • Ability to understand and address the financial needs of a rapidly growing company.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous learning.
