As a Respiratory Therapist, at Santa Rosa Medical Center, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients. Requirements:
An associate's degree and a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) License issued by the State of Florida
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) & Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certifications in accordance with the American Heart Association (AHA)

About the Job:
Under the direction of Physicians and and Respiratory Director, perform all respiratory procedures in accordance with NBRC, State Regulations, and departmental policies.
Recommend and implement appropriate respiratory care procedures and protocols based on observed abnormalities.
Provides respiratory care to patients in acute, chronic, and emergency situations. Manages mechanical ventilation and artificial airways in critical and general care areas.
Collects and analyzes arterial blood gases as well as administers aerosolized medications and other respiratory treatments.
Initiates, monitors and manages patient's oxygen through various devices including high flow nasal cannula and non-invasive positive pressure ventilation.
Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.
