Respiratory Therapist Job Description

Santa Rosa Medical Center is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform all respiratory procedures in accordance with NBRC, State Regulations, and departmental policies.
  • Recommend and implement appropriate respiratory care procedures and protocols based on observed abnormalities.
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in acute, chronic, and emergency situations.
Requirements:
  • An associate's degree and a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) License issued by the State of Florida.
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certifications in accordance with the American Heart Association (AHA).
