Role Summary:We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Life Sciences Product Management team. The Product Manager has global accountability for the commercial success of their products and related services. They will set the long-term vision and strategy for the products and lead and communicate this strategy to cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to achieve commercial and customer success for their products.Accountabilities: · Overall commercial success of the products and services · Definition of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap· Successful execution of the product strategy· Driving cross-functional alignment to facilitate and improve business and customer outcomesKey Responsibilities: · End-to-end management of the product lifecycle, maximising the business impact of products at each applicable lifecycle stage· Actively responsible for the commercial success of the product, ensuring Product P&L performance is in line with business expectations and market opportunity · Responsible for creating and executing compelling product strategies to drive customer adoption, and revenue and margin growth· Represent the voice of the customer internally, advocating for customer needs and opportunity · Proactively manage to all departmental and company KPIs, ensuring product performance is optimized· Establish and execute to the short and long-term product roadmap, aligning with overall business goals · Communicate the product strategy effectively to all levels of internal and external stakeholders · Define compelling commercial propositions based on measured, well-understood market needs and customer problems · Own the creation of and execution to business cases justifying investment to drive company ROI · Utilize all product management processes to drive market insights, including win/loss, user groups and surveys, competitive analysis, and horizon scanning · Manage product line issues and risks to ensure timeline delivery and market success · Work alongside Product Operations and Marketing teams to drive effective and impactful go-to-market and launch plans · Perform effective and proactive people management (as applicable), ensuring direct line reports have the skills and support to perform to their roles· Own all product related elements required to execute M&A assessments, including providing data-based recommendations for investment case expectations and execution Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Data Science, or a related field; or equivalent experience; MBA or advanced degree preferred· 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a people leadership role, preferably within the Life Sciences industry· Proven track record of developing and launching successful SaaS products· Experience building zero-to-one products preferred· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills· Strong communication and interpersonal skills· Ability to think strategically and execute methodically· Strong business acumen and understanding of financial principles· Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plusExperience in Life Sciences industry compliance function preferredExperience building AI/ML products preferredRLDatix is an equal opportunity employer, and our employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, age, gender, national origin, disability, handicap, marital status or any other status or condition protected by Federal and/or State laws.
