Responsibilities
The Education Manager will be responsible for creating, managing, and delivering educational programs tailored to the needs of client members in the multifamily housing industry. They will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop comprehensive educational content that addresses industry trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and professional development needs. They will be responsible for organizing the day-to-day operations and execution of the annual education calendar which features 75-100 seminars. This will include scheduling, marketing, and a variety of administrative duties for each seminar. As a member of the education and events department, the Education Manager will play a critical role in organizing education segments of several large scale events.

This position will report to the Vice President of Events and Education and work with the Education and Events Department Team, Volunteer Committees, Program Partners, Leadership and Staff to achieve common goals of the overall organization.

The philosophy and general objective of the education and events department is to provide rewarding, educational, informative, fun and highly valued experiences through the Association’s events, seminars, and functions; to offer many platforms from which members and prospective members may learn, grow and network from each other; and to provide an excellent source of professional industry training through a variety of programs.

Essential Duties: Work with volunteer committees to support and craft overall education experience for members
Assist in day-to-day execution of education program
Develop and implement sales strategies to increase student enrollment in education programs
Plan and execute marketing and promotional strategies to attract attendees to events, workshops, and conferences to meet department goals
Collaborate with other departments to promote and drive member participation
Coordinate, evaluate and manage student evaluations, feedback, and membership surveys
Work to meet revenue goals through registrations, sponsorships and related sales opportunities
Compile and analyze education and events sales data to identify trends and opportunity for improvement
Lead and administer new talent initiatives to attract new talent to the multifamily industry
Other duties as assigned by the Association staff, leadership, or appointed committee chairpersons


QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of experience in education program management, preferably in a professional association, nonprofit organization, or related industry
Proficient in building and maintaining positive relationships with a diverse range of individuals, including association members, colleagues and industry partners
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and engaging manner
Demonstrated potential to inspire, motivate, and influence others positively which includes displaying integrity, confidence, and vision
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite and digital marketing software systems
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Knowledge of the multifamily housing industry or related fields is a plus
Bachelor’s degree preferred
