* Leadership: Uses problem solving skills to identify and work through issues. Facilitates quality of patient care. Serves as an advocate for the patient. Serves as liaison for various clinical functions such as Clinical Practice, Occupational Health, etc. * Assessment: Demonstrates refined assessment skills to collaboratively discover the patient's story. Integrating the following elements: subjective data, objective data, physical picture, psychosocial components, personal preferences and norms, and learning needs and preferences. Must be able to utilize an ongoing priocess to interpret data and recognize patterns and trends to determine both immediate and future care needs. * Planning: Dialogues with the patient/chosen support system to identify what is important to them and incorporate his/her preferences and norms into the individualized care plan. Engages the interdisciplinary care team in planning individualized care. Identifies relevant resources based on necessity and availability. The employee understands and follows HIPAA guidelines and ensures the confidentiality of patient results. Reporting results: Ensures all test results, in-house and referred, are reported to the provider by checking a manifest or providing oversight of pending labs. The employee documents or assists in documentation or corrective action needed for Quality assessment, Proficiency Testing and Quality Control. Documentation: Ensures all routine, daily, monthly, and annual maintenance and QC are performed, documented and kept for the appropriate number of years * Women Services Specific: Maintain education in electronic fetal monitoring for competency in interpreting fetal non-stress tests that are scheduled on the nurse schedule. Ability to complete OBGYN triage phone calls based on evidence based protocol. * Human Experience: Show courage through creating and sharing innovative ideas to improve the experience for both patients and peers. Qualifications
