Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all ISO market rules.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily scheduling activities.
  • Utilize technology to streamline processes, drive automation, and enhance business outcomes.
  • Monitor changes in ISO business rules and integrate them into scheduling activities.
  • Participate in ISO-sponsored training to stay current with market changes.
  • Cross-train with other Operations team members to broaden market knowledge across diverse functions, such as Settlements.
  • Collaborate with team members, including Trade Accountants, Traders, and external parties (e.g., ISO & client staff) to resolve issues promptly.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience with scheduling, settlement, dispatch and reliability rules in one or more organized markets such as PJM, NYISO, ISNE, MISO, ERCOT, SPP, and CAISO.
  • Bachelors degree or 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Ability to implement new processes, multitask, and adapt priorities without direct supervision.
  • Proficiency in improving processes through the development of automated tools.
  • A deep desire to understand market and system functions and the determination to uncover complex details.
  • Certification in PJM, ISO-NE, or NERC is advantageous.
