Director of Business Development – Audio Sales AudioControl is an iconic brand in the car audio space. Behind the brand we have a team of audiophiles meticulously designing and engineering speakers, subs, amps, and other audio accessories and components. We give drivers worldwide studio‑quality sound in any vehicle on the road. The Director of Audio Business Development will be responsible for managing multiple new business development opportunities. This position will expand AudioControl’s audio channels by developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth, build client relationships, and expand the company’s audio market presence. Reporting to the VP of Product Development, this role will be key to the success of new product launches and keeping consumers informed on all of AudioControl’s products. This is an ideal role for an aggressive sales strategist that loves to win Key Responsibilities Oversee the product revenue stream across assigned product categories. Lead high‑level client interactions, create proposals, and represent the company at industry events. Conduct detailed consumer research with a customer‑first mindset for all future audio accessory and infotainment opportunities. Possess experience and passion for car audio – understanding the technology behind the products, and translate market needs into products and solutions. Collaborate with marketing leadership to manage overall brand visual identity, ensuring it is preserved in all external collateral, marketing, product content, etc. Develop and execute consumer‑driven and customer‑driven campaigns to promote product/solution awareness and sell through. Customize, define, and execute strategic plans against independent retailers, commercial and digital platforms. Oversee communications portion of new product launches: sales collateral, campaigns, promotional videos, customer emails. Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure product, line, or service profitability by analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends. Lead and develop an overall merchandising program for all AudioControl audio brands. Identify critical conversion points and drop‑off points and optimize sales funnels. Measure and report performance of all sales campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs). Translate technical features into consumer benefits that drive demand. Train consumers and retailers on all AudioControl audio products. Build 12‑, 24‑, and 36‑month revenue growth plans aligned to product roadmap. Evaluate and expand into new verticals (powersports, marine, commercial, EV, specialty vehicle platforms, etc.). Establish measurable growth goals, pipeline metrics, and performance dashboards. Requirements Drive sales revenue. Maintain consistent brand identity through multi‑channel marketing efforts. Strategic planner and organized leader who can utilize analytics tools to identify opportunities and create plans to improve brand profits across multiple customer types. Strong sales background with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Excellent writing and presentation skills. Work with a cross‑functional team of marketing and product to execute a multi‑channel go‑to‑market plan. Comfortable in front of camera – YouTube, social media, website videos preferred. Education and Experience 5+ years consumer sales experience; consumer electronics industry preferred. 5+ years car audio experience. Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field. #J-18808-Ljbffr
