National Field Reimbursement Director

You propel tactical direction and bring unity to complex business relationships.
In this role, you will be directly responsible for the time-sensitive market development and implementing the coverage and reimbursement strategy that will maximize patient access and optimize profitability. This role is critical in the launch strategy with large key payer targets including large national commercial insurers and government payer entities. You will:
- Hire, motivate and coach field reimbursement team to meet goals and objectives through influencing compliant behavior.
- Lead field reimbursement team to ensure goals are met to support product access within targeted accounts.
- Work with Field Reimbursement Specialists on a consistent basis, evaluating coaching and directing local business plans/presentations
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum five years of experience as a Manager/first line leader or demonstrated leadership and ability to motivate, coach, lead and execute strategy
- Minimum two years of experience in public or private third party access arena or pharmaceutical industry in sales, managed care, or clinical support with Buy and Bill products, Device and/or Pharmacy Benefit
Desired Requirements:
- Advanced degree or specific practice management experience
- Experience working in the pain therapeutic area desired
