Responsibilities

St. Vincent Jennings Hospital is looking for a CRNA to support scheduled procedures with no call responsibilities. The OR is currently open Monday - Thursday approximately 6:30 am - 3:30 pm. The cases are low risk for a group of general surgeons. Most of the cases are endoscopy, general laparoscopy, bumps/lumps removals. This position requires the CRNA to work independently with no other on-site anesthesia.

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Required:

  • Certified BLS Provider obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Nurse Anesthetist credentialed from the National Board of Certification and Recertification of NurseAnesthetists (NBCRNA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Registered Nurse credentialed from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) obtained prior tohire date or job transfer date.
    • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date.

Education:

  • Master's or Doctorate of Nursing Anesthesia Practice or Nursing Practice required
