Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our Anesthesiology team at North Kansas City Hospital. As a CRNA, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Monitored Anesthesia Care, Regional, and General Anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist.
  • Collaborate with the anesthesiologist to develop a plan of care for each patient, ensuring the most appropriate and safest anesthesia.
  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout surgery and procedures, recognizing and responding to any complications.
  • Implement orders and considerations specified by the anesthesiologist, reporting necessary information to the PACU RN and handing off care.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and complications of anesthesia through post-operative rounds.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia.
  • Active Missouri Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist License.
  • Minimum of one (1) year critical care nursing experience.
  • Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA), Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from American Heart Association required.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) strongly preferred.
