Job Description:
As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting leadership and team members across all locations within the assigned geography by managing day-to-day operations and ensuring smooth HR processes. This role involves handling various HR functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, compensation, unemployment, employee communications, training, and policy implementation and interpretation. You will act as a key point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance and support to foster a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:Relationship Building: Establish strong relationships with front-line employees, managers, and field leadership to foster positive employee relations.
Partnership with Leadership: Collaborate with regional and branch managers and other field leadership to enhance work relationships, build morale, and boost productivity and retention.
Employee Relations Coaching: Provide guidance to leadership on effective employee relations strategies.
Management Meetings: Conduct regular meetings with management across regions to understand business needs, challenges, and opportunities, and provide support and implement value-added HR services.
Policy Guidance: Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
Performance Reviews: Coach leadership on conducting effective performance reviews to ensure meaningful feedback aligned with company’s career development commitment.
Talent Acquisition Collaboration: Work with the Talent Acquisition Partner to ensure priority staffing needs are met and that onboarding, new employee orientation, and training processes are expedited.
Payroll Coordination: Collaborate with the corporate payroll team to resolve team member FLSA or pay issues.
Complaint Resolution: Lead investigations and resolution processes regarding employee complaints and concerns.
Management Training: Deliver impactful training on topics such as corrective action, termination, promotion, performance evaluation, safety, and harassment prevention.
Benefits Administration: Assist in benefits program administration and coordinate the annual open enrollment process.
Unemployment Claims: Respond to unemployment claims and represent the company at unemployment hearings.
HR Metrics and Analysis: Utilize HR tools and systems to input data, analyze trends, and drive metrics to support HR goals and initiatives.

Skills:Interpersonal Skills: Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels within internal and external groups.
Customer Service: Excellent customer service mindset and ability to develop long-term relationships.
