This position is responsible for setting up and running the envelope machine that you are assigned to, produce orders planned on the machine, perform maintenance to support operation of the machines, and check and confirm the quality of the product being produced.
Hours are from 1pm - 9:30 pm. The firs3 weeks are spent training on the first shift.
What Youll Do:
Set-up and run the high-speed inserting machines for production runs including size changes for envelopes and windows. This includes mechanical as well as basic computer software adjustments and troubleshooting to clear complex jams. Load full trays of mail onto carts and into APCs/ pallets. .
Check the quality of the first envelopes and periodically monitor the machines on a continuous basis to ensure consistent operation and quality of product. Ensure that proper materials and components are selected and used for each job. .
Provide and file reports to leads, supervisors and management at the end of each shift for each machine.
Comply with mailing out policies within the allotted timeframes, Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
What Youll Need:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience in a fast-paced production environment is Preferred.
Computer literacy required
Basic math skills required (production reports)
Strong time management, attention to detail and organization skills.
Flexibility in work schedule to work overtime when needed is required.
The starting pay range for this position is:
$19.11 - $25.48Additionally, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
