As a leader in home health care, we help kids achieve their best lives at home and in their communities while providing our employees a fun and rewarding place to work.Position: Supporting Documentation SpecialistLocation: Hybrid (Texas Residents Only)Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pmTHE POSITION:We are looking for a full time (40 hours a week) Supporting Documentation Specialist to join our exceptional customer service team who is committed to helping our patients thrive. Our Customer Service department is a fast-paced, high-energy environment and you'll find yourself challenged and required to use critical thinking every day through a variety of in-person, email and phone conversations. You will also be surrounded by a close-knit and supportive group who all have the same dedication to serving medically complex children and their families.Some of the critical tasks include: Obtaining prior authorizations and statements of medical necessityMaintaining of patient recordsPatient supply & service ordersCollaborate with referrals to create and streamline supporting documentationEnsure accuracy of supporting documentation to meet compliance and regulatory requirementsQualifications: Durable medical equipment (DME) intake/ admissions experience preferredExceptionally organized, multi-tasking, problem solving and communication and strong keyboard skills. A high level of initiative combined with a customer service mentality is also required.Experience in Brightree EHR a plusExperience in obtaining title 19 with health care providersTHE COMPANYPediatric Home Service is a pediatric home health agency that has provided high quality DME and nursing services to children that are medically fragile since 1990. Our services allow our clients to remain and thrive in their homes, schools, and communities.
