Vice President Of Finance - Corporate Development The VP Finance - Corporate Development is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic initiatives that drive long-term financial value for the organization. The VP Finance Corporate Development plays a key role in driving the company's growth strategy and investments and will work closely with senior leadership, legal, and operations teams to ensure the successful execution of corporate initiatives. This includes driving forward with the business on key enterprise level growth projects. Key Responsibilities Corporate Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to define and refine the company's corporate strategy. Translate strategic goals into actionable projects and initiatives to enhance financial and business performance. Investment Opportunities: Evaluate new investment opportunities and business ventures. Assist in determining which opportunities align with the company's strategic direction and long-term growth objectives. Strategic Partnerships & Financial Assessment: Develop and maintain strategic partnerships and alliances with external organizations, including government business development agencies and industry stakeholders. Enterprise Growth Projects & Integration Strategy: Lead the strategic analysis, identification, and evaluation of potential enterprise-level growth initiatives. Market & Industry Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify potential areas for growth, investment, or strategic expansion. Stay current with industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies informing regularly of company of competitor financial and non financial actions. Financial Analysis & Modeling: Build financial models, including valuation models, to assess the viability and impact of potential enterprise corporate development opportunities. Provide recommendations to executive leadership based on financial and strategic analysis. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various internal departments, including legal, operations, and marketing, to execute corporate development projects. Ensure smooth integration of growth projects, partnerships, and other corporate initiatives. Risk Management: Assess and mitigate business and financial risks associated with corporate development activities, ensuring that all initiatives are aligned with the company's risk profile and strategic objectives. Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders, including board members, investors, and strategic partners, to keep them informed of corporate development activities and progress. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (required). MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred. Experience 15+ years of international experience in corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, or related roles. Category / Brand and Channel experience preferred. Proven track record of strategy development, successful corporate strategy initiatives. Skills Strong financial and market analytical skills. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of corporate strategy and business operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software. Personal Attributes Strategic thinker with the ability to think outside the box and solve complex problems. Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with senior leadership. Highly motivated, results-oriented, and detail-driven.
