POSITION SUMMARY As Summit's Marketing Copywriting Lead, we're looking for a versatile and detail-oriented thinker who will craft compelling copy for diverse materials and channels, collaborating seamlessly with the design team. Managing social media across platforms, you'll uphold our brand voice, engage customers, and foster positive relationships. Your role extends to print materials, content strategy, and maintaining the social media marketing calendar for all our operating companies. You'll contribute to a sense of community with our social media audiences, handle real-time event coverage, and play a key role in cross-functional collaboration. Staying current with industry trends, your insights will enhance our content strategies. Quality control, including proofreading and editing, is crucial in this fast-paced, impactful position. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Create compelling copy for websites, emails, blogs, social media, and customer-facing print materials such as brochures and flyers. Manage social media content across platforms by developing posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to inquiries in a timely, brand-consistent manner. Maintain and coordinate the marketing content calendar to align with campaigns, events, and communications opportunities. Collaborate with design and cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive campaigns that connect visuals with messaging. Provide real-time event coverage through live posts, updates, and audience engagement. Support sensitive communications by assisting in the development of protocols and messaging during potential crises. Contribute to content strategy by researching trends, generating new ideas, and applying insights to marketing initiatives. Ensure quality control of all written materials, including editing for grammar, tone, and alignment with brand standards. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, advertising, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in content creation with emphasis on copywriting and social media management. Background in both digital and print marketing, with proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience working collaboratively with design teams and cross-functional partners. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail. Proficiency in social media management, including scheduling, engagement, and performance tracking. Knowledge of content marketing principles and ability to develop strategies aligned with business goals. Skilled in fostering positive customer interactions and building online community. Familiarity with producing print materials and aligning them with brand messaging. Strong organizational and project management abilities to balance competing priorities. Collaborative, adaptable, and creative, with a focus on continuous improvement and trend awareness.
