$15,000 Sign-On Bonus
Position Highlights:
- May be eligible for a $15,000 Sign-On Bonus with 3 year commitment.

Job Summary
The Medical Laboratory Scientist working within the Stem Cell Laboratory performs a variety of clinical laboratory tests, procedures and related duties. Utilizes scientific principles as well as technical, procedural, and problem-solving aptitudes for day-to-day laboratory technical operations, quality control, quality assurance, procedure/instrument maintenance and corrective action, test result correlation, and clinical laboratory related continuing education.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and completion of NAACLS accredited Medical Laboratory Scientist program, or a Bachelors degree and one to two years of experience/training acceptable to the ASCP or AMT for the Medical Laboratory Scientist required.
- Six months Blood banking experience required.
- Stem cell handling/processing experience preferred.
- Flow cytometry experience preferred.
- Molecular experience preferred.
Certification, Licensure, Registration
- Certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist from the ASCP or AMT within 12 months of hire date.
Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, every 4th on-call; 80 hours every 2 weeks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $27.50 - $41.50 per hour
