Sales - Territory Manager - Residential Sierra Pacific Industries Location: Portland, Oregon (sales area) About the company: We are a fourth‑generation family‑owned company that has grown to be one of the largest lumber and millwork producers in the United States. We employ more than 6,000 people and operate state‑of‑the‑art sawmills, manufacturing, custom wood‑framed windows, fabrication, millwork, veneer, cogeneration, trucking, forestry and other operations. We own and sustainably manage more than 2.4 million acres of timberland in California, Oregon and Washington and convert nearly 100% of every piece of wood into useful products or electricity. About The Position: Sell factory‑direct wood/clad window and door products Prepare and deliver timely quotes Build and maintain business relationships Create and maintain a solid customer base Identify potential customers Have knowledge of territory construction activity Successfully cold‑call and help customers identify their needs Meet or exceed customers’ expectations Qualifications: 2 to 4 years of sales experience required; prior experience in construction and window sales a plus Working knowledge of residential construction practices preferred Window and door product knowledge a plus Construction industry knowledge preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient computer and math skills Attention to detail, organized, and self‑motivated Must thrive in a competitive environment Applicants should live in Portland or the surrounding areas Benefits: Excellent low‑cost health benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage Retirement plan with employer‑paid contributions and company match for 401(k) Paid vacation and 10 holidays Company‑paid life insurance Additional retirement contributions Salary: $24,000 per year plus scaled percentage of sales volume and gross profit bonus.
