Role Description Job Functions & Accountabilities: The Territory Sales Representative, with Zep Inc., will have the ability to sell a wide array of products with Excellent Brand Awareness, Strong Brand Identity, and products that offer Truly Superior Solutions. The Territory Sales Representative must also have the ability to forge new relationships while maintaining current relationships within any existing accounts they may receive. This is a remote position that is primarily focused on outside Sales and being face-to-face with clients and prospects. Responsible for re-activating prior accounts and bringing in net-new business. The territory covers approximately a 100-mile radius but may also include some outlying areas. The primary responsibility will be selling directly to the customer through customer visits, installation of equipment, servicing and maintaining equipment, meetings, and phone calls and distribution partnerships. A different skill set will be required depending on the industry. Three different Industries: Transportation, Construction, Industrial. This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Territory Sales Manager based in Seattle, WA. The role involves managing sales activities, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. You will drive sales growth by developing strategies, providing training, conducting customer outreach, and delivering exceptional service. The Territory Sales Manager will collaborate with internal teams and use market insights to execute effective sales plans. Job Duties/Requirements Aggressively drive revenue growth through superior customer service and product knowledge Proactively develop new customer contacts and build long‑lasting business relationships. Use a route schedule to work in a specific geographic area for a given day and use a route schedule on their company phone to ensure all customers are seen on correct visit frequencies to maximize efficiencies of Rep. Daily call ratio range from 10‑12 calls per day on average; time spent with customer, product demonstration, service, or appointments would all be factors in the number of calls made per day. Listen to and evaluate customer needs and recommend/develop systems bundled solutions utilizing a consultative approach. Provide some minor technical service expertise as needed. Use company‑provided tablet to enter orders via the Company’s order entry portal. Achieve or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual district budgets. Establish, grow, and manage new and existing customer relationships. Utilize SalesForce.com for call planning and tracking. Use personal vehicle in accordance with TSR mileage program to make sales calls to customers and visit customers at their place of business. Able to work with distribution partners/distributors. Level of Formal Education A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) may include specialized or vocational courses. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience One to three years sales experience. Must possess basic technical ability/skills to be able to install and maintain basic dispensing equipment.
