As Senior Property Manager, you will lead and manage the daily operations of a portfolio of commercial, mixed-use properties, and association management. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient property management, maintaining strong tenant relationships, and coordinating with vendors and contractors to uphold high operational standards. The Senior Property Manager will lead the compliance and processes associated with HUD and Affordable housing properties. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong interpersonal communication, and a dedication to accuracy and follow-through.Property Management Essential Functions:Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring seamless functionality and tenant satisfaction.Serve as the primary liaison between owners, landlords, and tenants, fostering positive relationships and addressing tenant concerns.Conduct regular property inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues proactively.Interpret and enforce lease agreements on behalf of property owners and tenants.Solicit, review, and oversee competitive bids for contracted services and property maintenance.Coordinate property repairs and improvements with contractors, vendors, service providers, and maintenance in alignment with approved budgets.Prepare and present monthly management reports to owners, outlining financial performance, operational updates, and leasing activities.Develop and manage annual operating budgets to align with ownership goals and expectations.Lead annual audits for HUD and Affordable Housing properties in compliance with regulations.Represent ownership interests in meetings and engagements related to managed properties.Remain on-call to handle emergencies and urgent property concerns as they arise.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a strong working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.Strong communication and organizational skills, as well as a solid understanding of property management and financial oversightStrong interpersonal, communication (verbal/written), and organizational skillsUnderstanding and knowledge of accounting/financial informationAbility to work on a variety of tasksProficiency in property management software (experience with AppFolio or similar platforms is a preferred).Experience and knowledge of property management principles, local housing laws, and tenant-landlord regulations.Team-oriented attitude with the ability to take direction and work independently.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, 10 years’ experience in property management in lieu of degree.Real Estate License or ability to obtain within one year of employment.Previous management experience preferred.Physical Requirements:Individuals must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
