Director of Human Resources

We believe that our people are our greatest asset, and we are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Human Resources to lead our HR initiatives and drive organizational success.


This is an onsite role and company will assist with some relocation costs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement strategies for workforce management, performance enhancement, talent development, and compensation planning.
  • Guideline Review: Advise on and review current operating guidelines and procedures to align with company objectives.
  • Employer Branding: Champion the creation of an "employer of choice" brand to attract and retain top talent.
  • Recruitment Policies: Design recruitment strategies that reflect our core values and effectively engage prospective candidates.
  • Performance Management: Create a robust performance management and succession planning framework.
  • Training Initiatives: Implement training programs that develop critical skills within the organization.
  • Technology Oversight: Stay updated on industry technology and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Executive Reporting: Prepare and present executive-level reports on HR management and strategies.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the HR department budget, ensuring compliance with monthly expenses.
  • Legal Liaison: Collaborate with the legal department on all HR-related matters.
  • Benefits Partnership: Work with Finance to optimize health and wellness employee benefits programs.
  • Cultural Development: Promote and manage cultural programs that reflect our Core Values and Mission Statement.
  • Compensation Strategy: Develop and manage a competitive compensation strategy.
  • Relationship Building: Build positive relationships internally and externally to support business objectives.
  • Team Supervision: Direct and coordinate recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and safety activities.
  • Audit Management: Manage third-party regulatory and customer CSR audits.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment and 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Certifications: SHRM or PHR certification is required.
  • Skills:
  • Strong ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of federal, state, and local HR and safety regulations.
  • Proven experience in recruitment and development.
  • Knowledge of Human Resource Project Management.
  • Willingness to travel and support multi-facility operations.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
