Business Development Director

Description:The Business Development Director will lead aggressive business development efforts with a strong focus on identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities. This role requires a self-driven individual with a deep technical background and an ownership mindset-someone who takes initiative, drives results, and is accountable for revenue growth through strategic customer engagement and solution-oriented selling.Essential Functions Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team to drive innovation and company growth. Develop and implement business development strategies that align technical capabilities with business development goals to generate new revenue. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through consultative selling and technical solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and partners. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote capabilities and convert qualified leads. Analyze market trends and customer needs to inform product development and go-to-market strategies. Demonstrated success in managing technical customer-facing teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and customer engagement. Experience in B2B sales, business development, or customer-facing technical roles. Ability to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities through consultative technical selling.Educational Requirements 5-10 years experience in an industrial manufacturing environment in a Technical Sales or Business Development Leadership role.
