The Department of Neonatology at Tower Health is seeking a *full-time Neonatologist for the NICU at Phoenixville Hospital*.
The Phoenixville Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is a Level 2B unit and cares for infants who are born at 32 weeks gestation or greater. Phoenixville Hospital has over *1500 deliveries and the NICU has over 100 admissions each year*. The NICU is staffed 24 hours a day by a team of 4 board-certified neonatologists and 1 neonatal nurse practitioner. The unit’s registered nurses have an average of 10 years’ experience in neonatal intensive care. Our current group operates on a 24 hour shift schedule, with an experienced neonatal nurse practitioner in-house some nights to allow for beeper call from home, which affords a great work-life balance.
*Ability to function in a Level II NICU
* Comfortable managing babies with CPAP and ventilation support
* Provide educational support to Residents
* Average Daily Census: 4-5 babies (NICU) and 15 (well newborn)
* 8 - 24 hour shifts per 4 week schedule

* Demonstrated record of supporting patients in a Level II NICU as the primary physician
* Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prior to start date.
* Located in Phoenixville, PA, and a member of Tower Health, Phoenixville Hospital is a 144-bed facility that provides comprehensive medical services through emergency room visits, inpatient admissions, outpatient procedures and community outreach programs. Phoenixville Hospital’s services include an award-winning cardiovascular program, a fully accredited cancer center, NAPBC-accredited breast health center, an acute inpatient rehabilitation center, and a large robotic surgery center.
