What the key responsibilities are:

  • Lead and manage a team of five to six finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high performing environment.
  • Oversee the entire financial wheelhouse, including payroll, reporting, auditing and compliance.
  • Serve as an interdisciplinary leader, working closely with various departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Utilize expertise in Workday and other related systems to streamline financial processes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to support organizational growth and sustainability.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the revenue lifecycle in senior living and healthcare services.

What the required qualifications are:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in a leadership role in senior healthcare financial management, preferably in a nonprofit setting
  • Proven ability to manage complex organizations with multiple service lines and companies.
  • Strong leadership and political acumen to navigate a diverse organization and bring groups together.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Workday, and other ERP systems.
