Position Summary

 

Performs detailed Corrective Action Program investigations and analysis using established formal causal evaluation methods and tools. Collaborates with functional areas within Safety & Corporate Services to develop effective corrective action plans for identified issues. Provides analyses and reporting of adverse trends. Develops quality management systems and plans for process improvement to assure quality assurance and quality control measures are implemented. Evaluates effectiveness of, and recommends improvements in business process, practice and procedures.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job.  The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.  Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.​

A reasonable salary range is:​

Bay Area Minimum: $85,000​

Bay Area Maximum: $127,000​

&/OR​

California Minimum: $81,000​

California Maximum: $121,000​

 

Job Responsibilities

Participates in CAP investigations and analyses

Verifies corrective actions are implemented

Participates in business process analysis efforts to identify process improvements

Performs basic analysis as directed

 

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • High School or GED-General Educational Development-GED Diploma
  • Job-related experience, 3 years
  • Ability to travel up to 70 percent of working time

 

Desired:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with causal evaluation methods and investigations
  • Fault Tree Analysis Certification
  • HFACS-Human Factors Analysis Classification System certification
  • 5 Whys certification
  • ACE-Achieving Competitive Excellence certification
  • RCA-Root Cause Analysis certification
