Patient Transporter, Day Shift, Internal Transporters

As a Patient Transporter you will:
• Transports patient to and from locations in the hospital.
• Performs other duties such as organizing and distributing schedules, maintaining transportation supplies and assisting on the nursing units when available
Qualified candidates will possess:
• High School diploma or GED required
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
required
• Ability to prioritize and report observed changes in patient condition or behavior to RN
• Experience in clinical care setting preferred
• The ability to listen and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
• Skills in talking to others to effectively convey information
Work Schedule:
Seeking candidates who are flexible and can work different shifts.
Must be available Monday-Sunday:
11:00 am - 7:30 pm
12:00 pm - 8:30 pm
1:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Tobacco use is a well-recognized preventable cause of death in the United States and an important public health issue. Those testing positive are given the opportunity to re-apply in 90 days, if they can truthfully attest that they have not used any nicotine products in the past ninety (90) days and successfully pass follow-up testing. ("Nicotine products" include, but are not limited to: cigarettes, cigars, pipes, chewing tobacco, e-cigarettes, vaping products, hookah, and nicotine replacement products (e.g., nicotine gum, nicotine patches, nicotine lozenges, etc.).
