What you will do
Manages customer relationship development and satisfaction. Manages overall inventory and warehouse efforts to assure consistent, economical, and timely flow of both purchased and raw materials to support the manufacturing efforts of the facility to meet the customer’s needs and expectations by performing duties personally or through subordinate supervisors and/or support personnel. Performs reviews of the life cycle of planned service agreements, labor services, and inventory, from the planning /coordinating with the team to the shipment of products, service work performed, to the customer going through the supply chain process of material purchase, delivery of materials and services, and vendor invoice / payment.
How you will do it
· Manages the Material Planning, Shipping / Receiving, Production Scheduling and Inventory Control functions.
· Coordinates with Purchaser and Warehouse to assure that materials are on site in a timely manner to facilitate speedy and accurate parts availability to meet customer demands.
· Handles daily issues in support of production needs such as expediting material, setting priorities, and addressing issues.
· Maintains production levels at the lowest possible cost by using proper methods within budget.
· Maintains effective working relationship and communication with all departments.
· Operates within budget and contributes to the overall reduction of overhead and expenses.
· Ensures that on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, schedule attainment adherence, and days inventory on hand, execution are met while maintaining quality at the lowest possible cost.
· Executes key Material Principals in Johnson Controls, Inventory Systems.
· Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, accounts payables/receivables.
· Monthly report analysis of consumptions and receipts for the following purchase order plan.
· Open Order Report analysis done weekly to review vendor confirmation dates as well as estimated arrival dates to the warehouse for customer disposition.
· Open Sales Order Report analysis to review backlogs and needed orders.
· Reviews HVAC Service WIP, processes invoices, and manages the collections.
· Provides subcontracts
· Responsible for safety performance and program compliance.
What we look for
Required:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred in an appropriate field of study with experience in management.
· In the absence of a 4-year degree in an appropriate field of study, this position requires an additional ten (10) years of related experience.
· High-level competence in written and verbal communication.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) as well as Internet software and E-mail is required.
· Knowledge of MRP.
· Normal mechanical and analytical ability is a must.
· Must be able to analyze and interpret complex technical procedures, business periodicals, and journals as well as write and procedure necessary reporting.
