Job Summary and QualificationsThe RT Team Leader must have knowledge and skill sets to oversee patients in all service lines at OPRMC, including Adult, Pediatric and Neonatal Critical Care. The RT Team Leader must demonstrate patience and fairness with staff members, excellent personal interaction and have a strong work ethic and reliability.
Duties (included but not limited to):
- Assuring optimal staffing levels
- Making schedule adjustments as needed
- Coaching of staff members
- Orientation and training of new staff members
- Performance Improvement projects
- Overseeing specialty projects delegated by the Director
- Providing patient care as needed
What qualifications you will need:
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Three years of experience in Respiratory Therapy, including Critical Care areas such as adult, pediatric and neonatal care.
Registered with the NBRC as an Advanced Practitioner (RRT)
- Licensed with the Kansas Board of Healing Arts as an RCP
- BLS required upon hire and maintained throughout employment
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- PALS within 6 month of hire
- ACLS within 6 months of hire
