Job Summary and Qualifications

Our Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic procedures. Radiology Technologists collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services. The commitment to service, safety and professionalism is critical to achieving the best experience for our patients. Shift: Monday – Friday 8: 00 AM- 4:30 PM with call


What You Will Do In This Role:


  • You will process images.

  • You will prepare patient’s X-ray room, equipment, supplies and medication as indicated and deliver patient service.

  • You will practice proper radiation safety techniques.

  • You will assist in the process of orienting new employees.

  • You will transport patients to and from department.

What qualifications you will need:
    • Must be a graduate of an AMA accredited program with a certificate or degree in Radiographic Technology.
    • Should adhere to ARRT guidelines of obtaining 24 continuing education credits bi-annually.
    • Must be ARRT Registered with ARRT – RT(R) or Registry eligible (must be registered within one year of completing program).
    • BCLS Required.
    • Two years of experience as RT(R) preferred. Will consider graduates.
    • On Call Required and must have the ability to report to LSMC within 30 minutes of call back.

Medical City Fort Worth serves as a tertiary referral center for Tarrant County and many counties within a 90 mile radius. We offer comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services. We offer three ER locations, including two off campus ER’s located in Burleson and White Settlement. Medical City Fort Worth is a designated comprehensive stroke center. We are a Joint Commission chest pain center. We are a part of the Medical City network of hospitals.
