Job Summary and Qualifications


A Special Procedures Technologist assists physicians in performance of diagnostic special procedures/endovascular procedures/cath. With our experienced team, we are dedicated to providing an exceptional level of coordinated care throughout treatment to all patients. We are an amazing team, that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you, who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.


What You Will Do In This Role:


  • You will operate x-ray equipment, process images, prepare rooms and medications as appropriate.
  • You will prepare the patient for radiography – explain the procedure, transfer patient to table, position patient and assist the patient at end of procedure.
  • You will be efficient in the operation of the PACS and Computed Radiography systems.
  • You will perform Point of Care Testing for Urine HCG and Creatinine and calculate GFR.
  • You will complete daily billing – to include reconciliation of the order exams list, Hospital Billing List and the Final Day Sheet.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Emergency Medical Paramedic (EMP), or Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or Certified Surgical Technician (CST), or Associate Degree, or Work Experience in lieu of Degree
