Utilize Statistical Process Control to improve product quality, process efficiency and equipment utilization Â

Coordinate tracking, implementation, and closure of the area Management of Change Procedure Â

Provide engineering support and recommendations to operations management and other departments within the complex; Â

technical liaison for engineering projects involving various departments Â

Assist with preparation and justification of department OPEX and CAPEX budgets Â

Process engineering work requests; prepare project cost estimates; and plan and schedule work Â

Regularly inspect areas of facility to detect and eliminate safety, environmental, fire, security and health hazards Â

Coordinate mining activities and projects with other departments to meet productions plans Â

What you will bring: Â

Degree in Mining Engineering or Civil Engineering is required Â

6/8 years of relevant experience Â

Thorough foundation in safety and human relations Â

Experience in material haulage, economic evaluation, dam design and reclamation design is desirable Â

Engineering in Training (EI) certification is highly desired Â

Professional Engineering registration is encouraged Â

Must be able to plan, organize, and execute Â

Must stay abreast of trends in mining and the phosphate industries
