What you will do

Responsible for the execution of an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) account site(s). Under general direction, supervise a staff of O&M Technicians and sub-contractors responsible for maintaining two (2) Central Utilities Plant at a large manufacturing plant. Communicate with client, O&M team, and local branch management on all issues concerning execution of the contract.

How you will do it

  • Responsible for hiring, training, performance management and scheduling the staff needed to fulfill O&M contractual obligations.

  • Responsible for a variety of general testing and maintenance activities.

  • Communicates with client and other facility occupants to ensure customer satisfaction and enhance our opportunity to secure “contract extras”.

  • Ensures implementation of employee training and development plans.

  • Provides standard management reports as requested by the operations management team and the client.

  • Will be required to be on call 24/7 to provide telephone assistance as well as emergency response to the facility.

  • Responsible for adhering to cost or overhead budgets.

  • Ensures compliance to all city, state, and federal license and certification requirements. Maintains and submits all records and documents to proper authorities.

  • Reviews all work and assures performance in accordance with established safety procedures.

  • Complies with all company policies and procedures and adheres to company standards.

  • Performs other duties as required.

What we look for

Required

  • Two-year technical degree in or equivalent field experience required.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.

  • Able to manage and train entry-level personnel.

  • Able to deal with customers and others at all levels.

  • Knowledge of JCI procedures and policies.

  • Strong Personal Computer working capabilities in MS Office Suite, etc.

  • Must be a team player, committed to working in a quality environment.

Preferred

  • Previous experience managing Central Utility Pants is a plus

  • Working knowledge of a Computerized Maintenance Management System is a plus

  • Understanding of Metasys Controls System and Johnson Controls Open Blue Building Management Solutions is a plus
