**Description:**

+ full-time 7am - 7pm or 7 pm - 7 am shift schedule

+ Reporting to the Director of Respiratory Care Services

+ Level III NICU

+ Excellent learning opportunities

+ Respiratory Dept. and staff that takes pride in a meticulous in workflow

**Responsibilities:**

+ Performs respiratory care procedures in response to patient needs and physician direction/orders

+ Assesses the respiratory status of assigned patients through physical exam, chart review, and response to ordered therapy; and makes recommendations, when appropriate, to affect and achieve an optimal level of response to the intervention ordered.

+ Performs airway management and cardiopulmonary resuscitation as required.

**What you will need:**

**Required:**

+ Registry with the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist

+ Current licensure from the state of Maryland as a Respiratory Care Practitioner

+ At least one year of clinical experience preferred

+ Current CPR training with recertification every two years.

+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

**Preferred:**

+ Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) if working in NICU/Special Care Nursery
