Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement treatment, disease prevention, pulmonary rehabilitative, or diagnostic regime prescribed by a physician.
  • Transcribe and implement written or verbal orders of a physician pertaining to respiratory care.
  • Assess, observe, and monitor signs and symptoms, general behavior, and physical response to respiratory care treatments and diagnostic testing.
  • Recommend and implement appropriate respiratory care procedures and protocols based on observed abnormalities.
  • Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an Approved Respiratory Therapy Program with a Diploma or AAS Degree.
  • Previous experience preferred.
  • Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Licensed by the state of Florida as a Respiratory Care Professional (CRT or RRT).
  • Current BLS, PALS, NRP, ACLS, and/or American Heart Airway Management certification.
