  • 3+ years of experience eligible for $10,000 (full time)
  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time LPN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
  • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
Position Summary
    • Position is responsible for assisting with total patient care by performing clinical duties under the supervision of physicians and the clinical manager.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Diploma from an approved practical nursing program. Active State of Maine Nursing License or eligible for licensure. Two Years LPN experience preferred. Current BLS required. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology. Familiarity with health care systems, regulations, policies and functions. Understanding of documentation standards. Knowledge of infectious disease management and control safety standards. Skill in reading and following written and oral medical orders. Skill in handling a number of tasks simultaneously. Ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug dosages. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and diverse patient populations. Proficient computer skills and knowledge of the electronic medical record. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
