Atrium Health Levine Children's is seeking a part-time BC/BE Pediatric Hospital Medicine Physician to join their team of 75 + providers serving 5 Pediatric Inpatient locations in the greater Charlotte area. This is an excellent opportunity for parents, travel enthusiasts, or anyone looking to work 2-3 weekends per month.
Position details:
* Weekend Day Position at Levine Children's Hospital. Schedule consists of 13-hour shifts(7am-8pm) Friday through Sunday for two weekends a month. Alternatively, 3 weekends of Saturday and Sunday shifts can be arranged.
* Job responsibilities include performing admissions and consultations to the inpatient pediatric service, including supervision of Pediatric Residents, Students and Advanced Practice Providers on the admission team. Additional responsibilities include emergency response and Code Blue attendance and evening cross-cover of hospitalist patients.
* No Call or Delivery Coverage
Qualification requirements:
* BC/BE in Pediatrics and BC/BE in Pediatric Hospital Medicine is required
* Experience with lumbar puncture, patients with medical complexity and progressive level acuity is necessary

In addition to a full complement of pediatric specialty services, Levine Children's Hospital features a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center and an on-site Pediatric Rehabilitation Facility. Levine Children's Hospital serves as the clinical training site for the CMC Pediatric Residency Program as well medical students from the Wake Forest School of Medicine. Opportunities for faculty appointment and advancement are available through the Wake Forest School of Medicine commensurate with experience. Support for clinical research and quality improvement is available to interested candidates. The highly anticipated opening of the Wake Forest School of Medicine - Charlotte Campus in 2024 will provide additional opportunities for education, quality improvement and clinical research.
