Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity at Atrium Health

Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Pediatric Hospital Medicine physician to join our dynamic team of 75+ providers serving 9 Pediatric Hospitalist locations in the greater Charlotte area.
Position Details- 11 shifts per month at Jeff Gordon Children's Center, typically bundled in 3-4 day blocks
- Shifts are usually nighttime, 6p-7a, with some daytime coverage
- Responsibilities include inpatient care, cross-coverage of 12-20 inpatients, well baby newborn nursery, admissions, and ED consults
- Collaborate with a team of 2 physicians and 1 APP, with Family Practice Residents and PA students
- Weekend coverage 1 in every 3 weekends, with no home call
- Telemedicine privileges available
- Board Certification in General Pediatrics and Board Certification/Eligibility in Pediatric Hospital Medicine is strongly encouraged
- Experience with lumbar puncture procedures
- Prefer experience in inpatient pediatric medicine
