Behavior Specialist Technician
Full Time, Wage $16.50-17.75/hr

The Behavior Specialist Technician is responsible for performing various tasks related to behavior support including implementation, tracking, and training. Behavior Specialist Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide direct support modeling strategies used in behavior plans
- Review and summarize data on behavior plans and monitoring plans
- Report directly to the appropriate behavior specialist regarding individuals on caseload
- Maintain tracking for caseload
- Attend Lifeplan/PPT meetings and present information regarding behavior/symptom tracking
- Complete timely and accurate documentation
- Provide trainings and offer staff support
- Assist in developing/running groups
- Complete observations
- Complete fidelity checks/FAST forms
- Attend and participate in medication management appointments
What are we looking for in a Behavior Specialist Technician?
- Ability to work with confidential information and maintain files of same, ensuring that confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Ability to maintain a professional, courteous, cooperative work environment and demeanor with all employees, management personnel, and individuals you come in contact with (both internal and external). Ensuring that all employees have a positive, productive work environment in which to work.
- Dependability, Attendance & Work Ethics - Works with integrity and ethically, upholding agency values, ensuring agency policies and procedures are followed. Reports any concerns to Manager immediately. Maintains good attendance to ensure demands of department are met.
- Be computer literate with knowledge in agency operating systems and applicable software required for department needs.
- Demonstrate sound judgment in normal work and emergency situations.
- Must physically be able to perform required certifications and lift 50 pounds
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of a 2-year degree in psychology OR related field. Bachelor's degree preferred. Prior experience working with mental health is preferred.
- Possess a valid driver's license record that meets the agency's insurance carrier guidelines
- Covid-19 Vaccine OR a valid medical or religious exemption
