VCA TLC Animal Hospital GP/Urgent Care practice located in the heart of West Hollywood. We share our building with VCA Los Angeles Veterinary Specialist, our Internal Medicine Department.

We are seeking a highly experienced Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our team.

Compensation: $28/hr - $38/hr

Dependent on education, experience, credentials, location, nature of practice, schedule and additional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

* Assist doctors with exams, treatments and procedures
* Venipuncture and IVC placement
* Administer SQ fluids, medications, etc.
* Work in conjunction with all technical staff across the hospital to ensure hospitalized patients are receiving the best possible care and communicating frequently with the team
* Recognize subtle change in clinical status
* Discharge instructions with clients
* Complete estimates, basic record keeping
* Surgical preparation
* Anesthesia monitoring
* Advanced Phlebotomy
* Monitoring Ventilator Cases
* Apheresis
* Diagnostic imaging (radiographs and assisting with ultrasounds)

Requirements

* RVT Credentials
* Proficient computer skills
* Outstanding communication skills
* Interpersonal skills
* Ability to multitask
* Love for animals
